Not where we had originally planned to start but the urgency and necessity took precedence.

So this is our first campaign!

We had planned to make our first campaign about hunger, particularly the growing numbers of hungry children in the U.K. a situation that simply should not exist and does not need to exist in the world’s sixth richest country. However, the appalling, heart rending images and stories coming out of Gaza have changed that.

The death toll in Gaza has now exceeded 21,000, more than 8000 of whom were children. Another 55,000 people are believed to have been injured and it is now being reported that 500,000,000 people are at critical risk of starvation. This is without doubt the greatest humanitarian disaster of the 21st Centaury, almost beyond imagining. It is also clear that a permanent solution is desperately needed.

Our campaign shirts and lifestyle goods call for an immediate cease fire and in the longer term for a two state solution whereby all can live in peace.

We will be making a donation from each sale (as described in my previous blog) through the UN Crisis Relief Gaza portal to help alleviate the current suffering and as the situation progresses we will review who receives the donations. We understand that this is a drop in the ocean but an ocean is made of drops, it is what we can do, please help us!

Thank you,

Mike

Photo by Emad El Byed on Unsplash

https://images.podos.io/0dossqoujzmkoqrvcz7osqujm1dfwsfmfrlr1v7tl1j8fvgz.jpeg.jpg?w=1140&h=855&z=2.1&fx=0.42896350783456&fy=0.23809523809524
https://images.podos.io/0dossqoujzmkoqrvcz7osqujm1dfwsfmfrlr1v7tl1j8fvgz.jpeg.jpg?w=1920&h=1440&z=2.1&fx=0.42896350783456&fy=0.23809523809524
This No Gods No Hamsters design was a fun slant on the old anarchist slogan No Gods No Masters.
